• Great wee place and fab value for money. Everything about our meal on Saturday night was excellent - food, staff, service. Just what Greenock needs. See you again soon …p.s The Haggis nachos are pure genius!

• what can i say.. the waitress/partner whatever does not have a clue about customer service. She asked for feedback, was given it in a polite way but became defensive, advised us our request for warm plates were 'old school' and generally doesn't know how to treat her customers. Food was good quality which she laboured on for some time and was at pains to advise no1 else in the area offers this quality. Well yes as a huge mcaskie fan I would be inclined to agree but if you ask for feedback and then become defensive, put your hands on your hips and ignore what we have just said then you would be aswell serving up any old rubbish. All in all 2 hours for 3 starters, 4 main meals. God help them if it had been busy. No wonder the place was empty. Ditch the 'front of house' person for someone who sincerely cares about the business and more importantly the customer. We will not be back.. Voting with our feet on this one.

• First visit to Brodie's. Food excellent, but let down by small portion size - I would advise to get a starter - then of course it would be more expensive and overpriced!! Service was fine though our waitress was bouncing about like a Barbie Doll saying things like 'exceelent' 'Super' 'perfect' at innapropriate times - maybe trying to hard??
