"Wonderful quirky self catering cottages ideal for a weekend away, hen parties, wedding accommodation, contractors digs or just to get away. A fabulously quirky venue offering a romantic hideaway.We have various cottages sleeping 2 people to cottages sleeping 4 people. Also have cottages available that sleep 5 persons up to cottages sleeping 6 to 8 people and now we can offer a cottage that cate"

• I have just spent over the last month staying here I don't often write reviews but this was the most friendly place I have ever stayed in. The views are amazing the pub is all home cooked food I am missing the steak & ale pie. I stayed here as I was waiting for my cottage to be ready in Great Ayton I am now moved in. Angie the owner goes out of her way all the time with all the clients and rooms I highly recommend this place and also the Fox Covert next door both dog friendly too.

• Lovely clean cottage, very helpful staff they where great with my children and I really enjoyed my stay would recommend to anyone. Can't understand any of the negative comments I've stayed many places and this is one of my top ten.

• i was quite worried when i read some of the other reviews but i tried them out and my stay was great, exactly what it says on the tin affordable cottages in yarm. The rooms were clean and comfortable and i thought they were quite cheap for the area, also they are right next to the fox covert pub who do fantastic food every night so you do not have to cook if you dont want to

• Iam a contractor and i found the cottages to be just what i was looking for cheep and comfortable, they were clean and tidy and the owner was very helpfull i would definitely stay again

• Nice location but paper-thin walls mean you can hear the people next door even whispering.

• Do not rent this cottage without viewing it first !! I had a really bad experience staying here, it really ruined my childrens Christmas and they refused a refund. The property is not clean the furniture and soft furniture is very old and tatty, I was very dissapointed!!!
