• We ordered our food at 7pm and we were given an estimated delivery time of 8pm. I ordered a pizza, and wrote in the comment box "no mushrooms please" as i am allergic. At 8.10pm we called up woodhouse pizza to ask if our food was on its way. We were told it was, bearing in mind i live a 5minute drive away. So at 8.20pm we called again, and we were told the same thing. Also, the manager said to us "sorry, we put mushrooms on, is that ok?" It obviously was not ok but if the food was on it's way there was little we could say or do! During the second phone call the delivery arrived. The manager then offered a complimentary pizza to be made correctly, to be sent as soon as possible. This was great. One hour 15minutes after the wrong order was delivered, the complimentary pizza was still not here! So at 9.45pm we called again. A lady said the pizza was on it's way and to call back in 10minutes if it had not yet arrived. So 15minutes later i called back. When i explained the situation, the lady and some men in the background were all giggling. The lady then said that she cannot contact the driver who was assigned to bring the complimentary pizza. At this point i had had enough and wasn't bothered about the pizza, i was just disgusted and shocked at how the establishment had dealt with the situation. I asked to speak to the manager, only to be told that he doesn't work fridays, little did the lady know i had already spoke to him earlier! I will not be returning to woodhouse pizza, as after 3 hours i still did not have a pizza and felt belittled by how appaulingly the staff handled the situation. This is customer service at its very very very worst.
