• I booked through groupon and misunderstood the terms and conditions. I thought my daughter could be a spectator as I knew the centre admitted children and had experiences for children. However, upon arriving the woman on the front desk advised that I couldn't bring my daughter in to spectate. I understood and tried to arrange child care. This wasn't possible so I asked if I could rebook. I was advised that I couldn't (even though I hadn't used the voucher and it was valid until April). I would have been happy to have paid extra to book again. I asked the lady if there was anyway to rebook and she said no, they only made £11 on a groupon offer and they had lost time and money because of this. I was really upset and said I would not use them again and walked out. I later left a review on their Facebook page and photos of the terms and conditions and how I thought it was ambiguous. They were really rude, accused me of being abusive and said this was the reason I couldn't rebook. I have 2 witnesses who can attest that I wasn't abusive. They then threatened to post CCTV footage without my consent on their Facebook page. My boyfriend phoned them to try and resolve this. They said I was abusive and they wouldn't help. I have repeatedly asked for details of their information commissioner so that I can request any details they hold on me and they keep denying this right, despite it being entrenched in the Data Protection Act 1998. I was so excited to use this groupon as I love birds of prey and it was a Christmas present for me and my boyfriend. Instead the company were rude and unprofessional.
