• Drastically changed since the change of ownership. Now a lovely village pub with nice people. It is warm welcoming and has a lovely beer garden.

• Really unwelcoming, rowdy regulars. Won't be going back! Would prefer a nice country pub in the village. Better no pub at all than this lot. Very unfriendly landlady.

• Well what can I say? I visited this pub today (13/07/12) to ask for dinner reservations for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. On walking in and ordering a drink for myself and my girlfriend, we were immediately subject to a torrent of verbal abuse and disgusting language from the locals at the bar. This completely unprovoked and quite threatening spectacle was met with complete disinterest by the owner- while it was happening directly in front of him. As we walked away, the abuse continued with jeers and direct insults. If this kind of abuse is tolerated toward new customers, I don't think this pub will be seeing many more. Needless to say I will organise the party elsewhere.

• live music every saturday, 3 real ales including doombar, london pride, and a guest ale that is changed every couple of weeks, a;so has an enclosed beer garden at the rear of the pub, bar snacks always available, good atmosphere,
