• I purchased a brand new car with 5 yrs warranty I have trouble since 2nd day of purchase! York customer service is terrible, worst one in my life. They donot value the customer once they sell their product. Their 5yr warranty is just a LAUGH ,DONOT GO FOR IT, any probs they say its wear and tear! AVOID YORK TOYOTA!

• I took my car into Toyota in York for a service which was at a reasonable price of £70. Once they had completed the service they came to me with a report detailing that the 'Center exhaust brackets were corroded and snapped' and this would cost £949.03. Inclusive of this price was a catalyic converter of which my car didn't need as mine was fine. Later on in the day I took my car to North Eastern Tyres and Exhausts and they quoted me £400 to fix the problem excluding labour. I was worried about the cost to fix my car and told a colleague at work. She recommended Moor Lane Autos in Ouseburn York who charged me £42 to fix the problem and weld the brackets back together. Atleast a 95% discount of what I was originally quoted by Toyota.

• Very Good Service Away on Holiday when we had a problem with the car. Called in at Vantage and even though they said they where closed the mechanic was still there and helped sort my problem and no charge. A1 Garage.

• Worlds No. 1 Nasty car sellers, Don't buy from them they put customers in trouble if we go for warranty repairs.

• Very poor service-new car rusting within a month-damaged by technicians when sprayed-rust returned in 6 months-they refuse to fix even though their loan cars had rust in same spot-avoid at all costs!
