• A wonderful shop with very helpful & friendly staff. There are 9 rooms full of everything a proper, traditional toyshop should have. Very competitive pricing & a huge range. Long may they continue. Will definitely return.

• Fantastic 'old-fashioned' toy shop with a great selection to explore. You're sure to find something suitable for your little 'erberts or as a gift, whatever their age or your budget. We've always found the staff to be very friendly and approachable (they understand how fickle kids can be). btw Dads, there's a good selection of Airfix kits near the back of the shop...

• Staff are helpful - without being intrusive. the selection is very good - iit is a tardis like shop , much bigger than you would expect from the shopfront. The prices are standard, but the variety and the satff made it a pleasant visit. Definitely a good place to go for ideas for gifts as there is a wealth of choice.

• I have purchased various toys and bicycle for our granddaughter in the last year and always found staff to be very friendly and extremely helpful. Fabulous selection of toys locally elsewhere.

• Staff ignored us and were unfriendly when we did ask for assistance. Good range of stock but very expensive compared with elsewhere. Not a nice atmosphere, I got the feeling they were used to much wealthier customers and were quite snobby in the way they dealt with us. We did end up buying a few small inexpensive items and when we had to return a faulty toy the next day they made us feel like we had done something wrong. Won't be returning!
