I could not recommend Tiger Taxis, and would not use their service again.
Our driver couldn't find the house, and eventually arrived 40 minutes late. We missed our train back to London, and were extremely late for work.
The controller was not able to contact the taxi because he had no mobile phone signal. He told us repeatedly that the taxi was 2 minutes away, which it may well have been; but it wasn't at the requested address until 8.40, despite the company knowing we were trying to catch a train.
Finally, we requested a discount, and the controller offered us 50% off. But the driver refused to accept a lower fair, saying that it was not his fault and he would be out of pocket. We paid the full fair, despite the whole experience being completely unsatisfactory.
Poor communication and poor service all round.
