• this pub needs a makeover,table tops and seats are well worn.There is a new owner so we wait and see.Beer good and staff nice but could be some time before it again becomes the best pub in the village'Sadly you have to run the gauntlet of smokers outside the door.odd when they have a good smoking area in the garden

• pub has changed ownership recently.remains a friendly local pub.No food but good ales.Table tops and uphoulstery in need of refurbishment.Regular clientell cannot be wrong but could be much better.

• traditional pub with good beers friendly staff lots of local characters strong on horse racing and rugby basic food only but no loud music and not a youngsters pub-heavan!
