• I left some constructive criticism on there face book page ,nothing rude.And certainly not abusive .But it seems they only publish the good comments?...Food was not good,but it was fairly cheap.Service nothing short of terrible.The beer (which is brewed on site) excellent :) ...But the bar staff have no Idea how to serve nice ale ( A great shame!! ) I get the impression that the pub management side of things is failing badly....And it claims to be a brewery tap but the two parts of this business seem to be out of touch with each other.... So with that said,it is worth trying the beer but that’s it.... an all round rating of 3/10 :-(

• We had heard from several people that this place was good for sunday lunch so we prebooked, despite all the adverse reviews. Have just visited within last few days for Sunday Lunch with several friends, place was full and everyone seemed to be eating. We only had to wait a few minutes after our alloted time slot before we were shown to our table and we were soon advised thereafter that we could go to the carvery and make our choices. We had the choice of two roasts and two other main courses with several different types of vegetables. The service was good and staff attending to us efficent and polite.The portions were excellent in size, and all of us were happy with them The food was very good and enjoyed by all the party. The desert menu was not extensive but did cater for most tastes. One of our party did try a couple of the Micro Brewery ales and was very pleased with them Overall we had a very good and enjoyable meal in very nice surroundings, and will be making a return visit in due course Therefore, we consider that other reviewers who have visited The Tap House and posted adverse comments must have been expecting 5 Star London Hotel A La Carte food not Country Pub fare. Overall would have no hesitation in reccomending this establishment

• Well very nice food but as i looked down 2 piles of dog muck MMMMMM really put us both off. and was delt with as if nothing not after a free meal but a gustuer would have been nice and spoilt meal

• Have been several times and always had a lovely meal. Can really recommend anything with the sausages. Service attentive without being intrusive. Would recommend.
