• Food is very good but long waits for it. Take away service is quicker! Staff seem to be used to the complaints

• booked a table for 8 waited quite a while for each serving to arrive, was given the £194 bill and asked if we would finish our drinks at the bar (no seats available) as they wanted the table...totally disgusted and ruined our evening as the waiter stood there an insisited we go!!

• Excellent food but have to agree with some other comments made. I have been to the Tamarind quite a few times and recently for example 11 May 2013. Our table was booked for 8:00pm so we got there at 7:50. Our table was ready by 8:10. Ordered food within 15 mins but our meal didn't arrive until 9:35. Yes it was busy in there but I'm sorry this isn't good enough and this has happened at least 5 times. Makes me think they take longer so you drink more in there and pay the higher prices. Will only rate this 1 star due to the time it take for the food to be served.

• Top marks for the quality of the food, have never been disappointed, but on the last two occasions we have been (once a Saturday night and last night, a Tuesday) the service has been poor, with a very long wait for the main meal. On both times the restaurant was fully booked, but people who arrived after us were served first, and we had to wait too long for drinks and the bill.

• WOW we are a well traveled couple, eaten all over the world, and we think this meets some of the best places for food,service, waiting staff always have time to stop and chat and make you feel special, nothing is to much trouble

• Excellent venue, service was exceptional.. However ordered Nillah Mach expecting something to resemble fish and it was soggy bits of breadcrumbs. For £11.50 it was awful.

• I would like to thank shahid and all the staff for a brilliant we had. It was our siver anniversary everyone enjoyed the meal and the service outstanding. Once again thank you and carry on with the hard work

• Fantastic service, inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Good prices and excellent value for money. Food is the best Indian food I have tasted. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients.
