• I have bought items from this butcher/grocer over a period of 5 years on and off and always found them to be friendly and the produce to be of high quality, although a little pricey. During my last visit after over a year, sadly I was over-charged and also didn't realise until I got home that they charge £1.50 per sweet potato. I paid £40 for 19 items when there were only 16 in my shopping basket. I only realised this when I got home. I called the establishment and he kindly went through the receipt with me. The receipt is not itemised in words, only codes, so it was difficult to decipher - but I realised that, as a mimimum, I had been charged twice for 2 tins of tuna. I asked him for a refund of the additional items and the cost of my return bus fares back as compensation as I do not live locally. He refused. I then asked for a full refund and he refused again. He was extremely unprofessional and I will never visit this grocer again. I am warning others not to use this butcher/grocer as they are highly unprofessional, rude, over-priced and with no apology gave horrific customer service.
