• Nice pub. Plenty of parking, large garden with chickens in so good for children to look at. Plenty of lagers and ales with the usual selection of bottled beers too, including low/non alcohol. The atmosphere was very welcoming (I was in there on a Saturday night). Plenty of drinkers and a quite a few eaters too. Decent music playing and plenty of places to sit. The landlady and landlord were most friendly and were very informed on the beer they sell. I believe the landlord is also the chef. The food I had was excellent and a good size portion too. I was also told the pub has a full length skittle alley out the back. You don't see that very often!. Will go back again soon for sure.

• This lovely pub has recently had a bit of a makeover! with its refurbished parquet floors, cosy seating, re-opened fireplaces and lush beer garden its a perfect place to enjoy a beer or two! why not sample the inviting menu! with dishes ranging from doorstep sandwiches to steaks and hand-battered cod served with homemade triple cooked chips, theres something for everyone!
