• Eileen - I think I might be the one who bought the Van. I actually bought it from Wildax Motorhomes where it had apparently been traded in May. Don't know about South Mids hire as a hire company but what i can say is that when i asked for a service history South Mids Hire produced a very strange service record book where none of the dates and mileages matched up with the MOT history from dvla. I've asked for an explanation but as yet no response.

• very unreliable company, we contacted the two months ago to book a camper van, we paid a deposit and received a confirmation email. We called to make an enquiry this week and we were told that the vehicle had been sold and had in fact been up for sale when they took our money and confirmed the booking. They didnt see a problem with the fact they had not let us know. They are still advertising the vehicle on the website. We have not received our deposit back yet. Be aware of this if you are thinking of making a booking with this company.
