• Went yesterday felt intimated into having a meal. Also when eventually did have meal cod was very bland and chips where like bullets.

• Shockingly awful Sunday lunch wasn't beef we were served surely was plastic says is home cooked came home hungry spoilt our afternoon treat to the family

• I rang sitwell arms for information on times etc for sunday lunch and was greeted with a very helpfull gent who w hen i asked if we needed to book he said no just turn up.... We were greeted by what i can only describe as a very overeacting employee who insisted on shouting rather loudly so everyone heard that i dont know who you spoke too "sweetheart" but that is not true "sweetheart" (ptfff) we were told that we could have our dinner if we sat next door in the bar...we paid and the machine locked our card (ptfff) As we were there for a good hour we could see that there were loads of tables free in the dinning area mabee the coachload didnt turn up ?? the dinner wasnt up to much ive never seen mushy peas on a carvery and we wont be going again sweetheart....

• We had a family get together for a meal on friday 18th May and the meals were fantastic. All 12 people thoroughly enjoyed, well presented and quality food. Great service also

• Just back from the sitwell arms,my partner and i both had prawn coctail and the mixed grill.Both very well presented ,the grill was sauasage lamb chop pork chop gammon rump steak black pudding mushrooms tomato and onion ringjacket potato,cooked to our liking,the service was very good ,a very pleasant lady.all in all a very enjoyable mealWe would go again and can recommend this restaurant
