• I have recently moved to Cheltenham and was told this was THE place for Fish and Chips. Must have been a bad day as although the service was excellent and the shop was clean the food was expensive and poor. Chips were dry and fish was mushy. Maybe next time I might catch them on a good day

• Tototal disappointment, there are much better fish and chips shops on cheltenham. Very flashy , but food is trashy

• I have been here before whilsf on business and the food was ok. Was in Cheltenham again and heard that it was the best in the Midlands so went back. Service was great, very happy and friendly but the food.....NO!! Expensive and tasteless. Not sure if it was batter on it or wallpaper paste!!! I travel a lot and there are thousands of better shops

• Award Winning!!!!!! Clearly not for the food. The fish was mushy and the batter was pale, limp and devoid of any taste whatsoever. Might as well have wrapped it in the paper and then fried it.!! Avoid!!!

• I have no idea what Simpsons do differently, but these are the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. The restaurant area is really nice, and fresh. The staff are welcoming and attentive. Not sure why they are getting bad reviews... Maybe they have improved a hell of a lot since 2011.

• I live very close to the chip shop and I have found this chipshop to be very hit and miss, the fish size differs everytime ive been in their, i often find myself popping to another chipshop further away as its more consistant and alot cheaper

• I went to this fish and chip shop today for my tea and despite its professional hygienic appearance the service was awful. I was greeted by a lady whom I clearly disturbed and was unable to be at all cheerful, the food was average, I have had better and I will not be going back. The service was totally and utterly awful and embarrassing, not for me but it should be for the proprietors.
