• I had a hair cut here using a Groupon voucher - more fool me! Your get what you pay for! Not only did they "squeeze" me in (meaning the next lady, who had booked her appt there had to be turned away and told to return 20 minutes later), the premises were dirty, the hair dresser uncreative and I wasn't even offered a drink. This might all have been bearable had it not been for the haircut itself - so bad it was actually unbalanced! Two months on, the top of my head has a chunk of shorter hair where layers were put in wrong even after the lovely, talented people at The Avenue had done their best to correct it! Don't buy this groupon!! Don't go here!! There is only one hair dresser so you won't fair any better than I did!! Go to The Avenue instead - their Groupon is the same price and the woman who cut my hair - Victoria - did a splendid job. Alternatively, it might be pricey, but Alan Paul in Meadowhall do well too!
