• reading some of these comments I wonder if we went to the same pub, the fun area for children is packed out, toilets need a clean, no toilet paper in any toilet it all needs a good clean the door to the fun area is not secure todllers can escape easily and its so packed you can not track them properly the pub food off the main menu not the carvery was surprisingly nice

• My family and i went to The Seven stars this bank holiday monday and to say it was packed is an understatement. Having said that the food and service was wonderful. We took the girls into the play area which was also busy but very organised. Well done more places in Stafford should take a leaf out of your book.

• We visited this pub for a carvery and was not impressed at all, for a start the service was terrible and the staff didn't look as if they were bothered at all they were just chatting away. We went to get our carvey's and had to wait ages for the chef. He didn't apologise for the wait or didn't look interested in the job the lack of communication was poor. The meat didn't look very nice and there wasn't no choice in vegetables at all. My friend took one look at the food in the service dishes and wasn't impressed he asked for a refund and got up and left. We sat down to eat and to put it politely there wasn't much meat at all because half of it was fat the roast potatoes were burnt and as for the gravy there was more lumps in it then a bowl of porridge. When i complained about the meal i was told the roast potatoes were ment to be like that and to cut the tops of them and for the rest of the meal she would mention it to the chef, well what good was that to me after id just paid for four meals. To be honest i wish i had done what my friend did GOT UP AND LEFT!!!. would never go again.

• The carvery was awful, you could not cut through the meat and couldn't chew. I will never visit again.
