• I have used Saltys now for a number of years, recommended you to friends and family and NEVER been disappointed until tonight. There was only 2 people in front of me, one which was an online order, but I waited longer than if there was a very long queue. A gent came in and asked if there were any scraps left but told no. He decided not to get fish and chips and went to another takeaway. The staff then made fun of him! I know I asked for a mini fish, but when I actually opened the box, it wasn’t much bigger than a fish cake. I appreciate this was Sunday evening, but no excuses. As I requested NO salt and vinegar, it was put on. I was then given the option to refry the fish!!! As you can imagine I declined. When I was leaving the server said I HAD requested salt and vinegar. I think the problem tonight was too much talk and no concentration. The staff were too busy cleaning and talking to bother about the customers needs. This is the first time I have ever complained as I know work is hard enough without complaints, but need to realise they are in customer service which in effect keeps them in work. I will admit my overall rating is just for tonight as I stated before I have never been disappointed.
