• I have had an horrendous experience in rugeley post office today there is a woman behind the counter the only person in there she is a very highly tempered person and very very rude. I don’t understand why a person so rude can run a shop never mind a post office. No wonder non one goes in there I certainly won’t

• Hello i have never experienced anything like this before. The woman in the post office (said she was the manager) just bought me to tears. Never cryed in public before! I just want to say that I am a polite and calm person who does not like confrontation. I am passing through Rugeley on my narrowboat and needed a post office. There were no other customers in so I felt I could ask couple of questions and got very unhelpful and rude replies. I wanted to buy a box, it stated £4.45 went to pay for it and the woman said it was £4.99. It's a bit of a price difference so I said, that it stated a different price on the price sticker. She immediately blew up telling me not to argue about the price as the price has gone up. It was shocking how fast she reacted in this way for me pointing out the price was different. I said that as the proce stated 4.45 that should really be what i have to pay. I stayed calm but said please dont get angry as i feel its only fair i pay the price it states. It was unbelievable, I've never been spoken to like this before. She was so rude I ended up breaking down in tears. She said "we work our fingers to the bone to serve people like you all day" i said i know you work hard but i just feel its only foar i pay the price stated. Both the woman and the man ended up telling me to leave becuse I was questioning the price. The man Said "you've said your piece so not just leave". The reaction I was given was so unbelievable for wjat was happening, i was so in shock. I feel I was being attacked for them putting the wrong price out. I'm just passing through, luckily it's not my local post office. I ened up apologising, i think just becuse i hate to leave any upset unresolved even though i was never rude or did anything wrong. She calmed doen a bit and let me post my parcels and buy the box, still for the incorrect price though. I use a lot of different post offices as we live on our boat and run my business from it and need to regularly post my orders out. Most offices are really helpful and lovely, i'm so sad this has happened. I feel I needed to somehow report her as she was really, really awful, worst experience I've ever had in a shop. It felt it was verbal abuse, I am still very upset and shocked at whathappened

• Appallingly aggressive woman behind counter. Spent over forty pounds and was shouted at like a second class citizen. The woman behind the counter was not wearing a mask during recent omicron variant recommendations to do so.

• Stay clear of this post office staff are Rude and the only staff here now are the ones that took over . ..hardly noone in our town uses this post office anymore ..most have been upset by the girl ..Brereton & Spar post office are having to pick up the pieces ..I remember when this post office had 4-5 staff on daily and ques out the door ..not anymore

• awful rude female counter staff, would not even tak my stamped letters and told me to walk to the letter box ! disgraceful rude staff, dont visit anymore. I have raised a formal complaint

• This post office has gone down hill and fast since the new owners have taken over,it was always a thriving shop with 4-5 staff working daily now there is 2 the owners, noone is using this place anymore-walk on by they are rude and there attitude is atrocious. Thank the Lord 1 of the local shops have started to offer the post office service because Rugeley post office has either banned or refused to service our town
