• Ross Selley is the contractor to hire if you'd like to lose your hair without undergoing treatment. With the amount of stress this man causes you'll feel your hair dropping out day by day. Ross is nothing but a typical builder who gives you every excuse under the sun including my vans broken down, my workers got Covid, I've got Covid, my dogs got Covid, my workers got cancer, I don't have any money to buy materials plus every excuse you could think of. However he'll then be enjoying a holiday in sunny Spain while you're sat looking at your horrible incomplete building site that he promised to complete over a dozen times. I've spent around £50,000 with this man to have my shop done. What am I left with? 1. Big gaping holes in the top of my gables from a roof that was replaced over 15 months and he still hasn't come back to fill in the holes 2. A brand new concrete floor thats about as uneven as the French alps 3. Old guttering still attached to walls even though I've had new gutters fitted 4. A ugly breeze block exterior wall which was supposed to be rendered 6 months ago 5. A leaking roof on the warehouse section which was an entirely brand roof from scratch plus so many more incomplete bits Ross and his team started work on the garage on 7th September 2020 and Ross told me it'll take a few months. After ripping everything apart, they disappeared for several months and reappeared around February 2021. They did most of the work but have failed to complete it. It's now October 2021 and the garage still isn't complete. Ross promised me a 'plaster finish' for the floor but I'd be crying if my walls were plastered to that level. Maybe to Ross this uneven surface is what a plastered finish is supposed to look like, but everyone else who has seen the floor has laughed at it and said 'I hope you haven't paid this builder for this work yet'. Unfortunately I have paid Ross in full for the work he's done as I was silly enough to trust this joker. I could sit here all day writing about Ross and how much of a joke this man is with his false promises and shoddy work, but I'll just leave it there and advise anyone else to avoid Ross Selley at all costs. I'm now left with no choice but to go down the legal route to either have Ross pay for someone else to finish the job or just pull his finger out and finish it off himself. Either way, it's a headache I wouldn't wish upon any other hard working individual.
