• WOW. A GREAT REFURB. A REALLY TRADITIONAL PUB. THE OUTSIDE AREA IS A GREAT AREA NOW. FANTASTIC WELCOME FROM THE NEW LANDLORD AND LANDLADY.

• A smashing village local. Sensitively refurbished, good food and three ales on tap. Welcoming landlord/lady and staff. Would recommend a visit.

• Has just been refreshed properly for the first time in years and made into a much more family friendly area in the old restaurant, keeping the snug and old bar bit similar but refreshed, to appeal to the more traditional drinker. the outside has had a total refresh and has a new patio, seats and a small new childrens area. Great new menu, and the landlord and landlady are superb and friendly.

• We booked a table for a weekend family get together and had a lovely time, food was a generous portion and good with choices for vegetarians and children plus service was great. We've since gone back on several occasions as it's great for families.

• Lovely setting and had great expectations. However, lunchtime menu was disappointing and the food even more so. Came away anticipating food poisoning.Maybe they need a new chef with a food hygiene certificate!!! Needless to say won't be returning there
