• Pub looks lovely - very old and full of character; that's the good bit. Inside, was an atmosphere of snobbery and unwelcome, we felt uncomfortable (shan't bother again), this is the same story told to us by others in the area. It seems to attract a very elitist/stuck up group - real shame though because the food is over-priced and average. June 2012

• Made to feel awkward as we had to return a main dish that was stone cold despite it being a quiet lunchtime. Not a local (seems these are welcomed with open arms)but surely any Pub should be glad of trade? Very pricey as well... sadly our food was only average and our drinks were below average as Lager flat and hardly chilled. Landlord gave us the impression that we were not welcome at all and as such based on the above we will never return.
