• I would never recommend this shop to anyone, it's my friends wedding in 4 weeks time and have had nothing but trouble with them, I recently tried on my bridesmaid dress which is a size 18 and fits perfect she held the dress on my back and didn't do it up and said it's too small and then brings out a size 24 and tells me that it fits lovely, to be honest it was a tent on me and was not comfortable, we have 7 bridesmaid dresses with them which I know is a lot but we ordered these dresses in June and they didn't get to the store until November because about 2 months after ordering them someone had popped in to see if the dresses had arrived and she said we hadn't paid a deposit but we had paid £300, they have made no attempt to make any alterations to the dresses and told me the bride was happy to have the dresses the night before the wedding, I don't know anyone who would agree to that, so we will be collecting the dresses as soon as possible as they cannot be trusted with them, and they always forget if they made an appointment for you to go down and will come up with and excuse, please do not waste your time going there, they bring nothing but stress and its not what you need when planning a wedding!

• just picked my dress up from primadonna omg its amazing they are great try them before you go anywhere they are so professional and the dress i never seen such beautiful ones and i went everywhere i mean everywhere go and ask for mel she brill thanks so much i always remember this day xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

• hi myself and three of my close friends have had our wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses from primadonna they have been wonderful the quality is second to none fab the service is excellent ladies are really special and caring to all your needs i would tell anyone to go there no one does it better go and see yourself make your own mind up theyare the best

• I had a wedding dress, bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. I would advise anyone going here that when they buy a dress to pay for it there and then and take it there and then. Dresses they have are lovely and priced well, but when it comes to their organisation of ordering in a dress (they ordered my one wrong three times) they are a shambles, I chose another dress in the end a few weeks before the wedding day and took it there and then and sorted out the alterations with someone else because they still hadnt got it right 4 weeks before (july 2014 when my wedding was due and I ordered it in October 2013!!!) They booked in fittings for bridesmaids and would arrange for them to be down their shop, only to be told the dresses still werent ready over and over, so completely embarrassed by these people asking my bridesmaids to go there for no reason, and wasnt told at all not to take them down there as they all still werent ready, 4 days before they were still not finished and in the end we had to take them all as they were and privately get them altered (2 days before). They asked me to pick the flower girls dresses, which i did, they came back looking nothing like what I picked, they were basic white organza dresses with a sash! Their alterations werent ever right either and we also had to ask the other seamstress we got to alter them too 2 days before. Buy if the price is good and take it that day, get alterations and fittings somewhere else! Weddings are stressful enough without people doing this to you. Luckily it turned out ok thanks to the seamstress who helped us out in the end!

• DCESN'T EVEN DESERVE A 1* RATING! Went prom dress shopping in january 2013, fell in love with a dress straight away but had to order it in a smaller size, which they say would take 6 weeks which is quite a wait anyway. After 6 weeks of still not hearing anything, we rang up numerous times to find out where my dress is. They said over and over that it was the shop and they just had too many bookings to do a fitting but would contact me soon. Weeks went by and we decided to just turn up at the shop, they acted like everything was fine and went looking for my dress. They brought a dress out which I tried on and was 2 sizes too big, which coincidentally was the same size as the display dress I had previously tried on. We demanded our money back, which then took a few weeks to finally be transferred. If you want something to ruin your big event and cause unnecessary stress then go to primadonna... worst customer service ever with lie after lie!
