• Phillimore has a huge range and variety of trees and plants. Staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. I very much prefer this garden centre to the big chain companies. The personal touch and family atmosphere are important. I don't leave nearby, but well worth the extra journey time.

• Went to Phillimore Garden Centre with a friend on Monday we had a pleasant time in cafe, lovely wander around the centre, but the checkout process was not good - the young man at cash desk did not appear to know what the was doing did not offer bags to put goods bought in, course in customer care would help. Excellent garden centre let down by poor customer car at checkout

• A very good garden centre. All the shops have a good selection and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. A nice little cafe for a coffee. With the choice of garden centres around Melbourn this is the one I use.
