  • 5 star review I have been there twice now. The service is second to none and the food is to die for. Its the only Chinese restaurant i will ever use.

  • 4 star reviewHave visited here a few times and it has been a great experience every time! waiting staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food is also fantastic and made fresh to order. You also get a great value for money deal on the buffet, definitely more so than other chinese places! Would recommend it, only thing stoping me giving 5 stars is the slightly cold atmosphere which would be easily fixed with some heating.

  • 1 star reviewGoing to the peking was a huge mistake, taking my girlfriend for all you can eat we arrived to an empty uninviting place with surly staff..seemed we were being a nuisance being there to them ! Apparantly their all you can eat is what they think you can eat not what you want.. and the cost is ecessive for the poor quality of food served . Do yourself a favour and go to the thai restaurant in the same complex - great food and staff .

  • 5 star reviewWe have used this restaurant many times and wouldn't have returned had we not been delighted. We have even taken overseas visitors there and they have been equally delighted. The buffet is especially worth having as everything is freshly prepared to order and the waiters urge you to try different items and call up more if you like them. This is not a "cheapy" but you get a quality meal for your money. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming. Utterly delightful!

  • 5 star reviewI cannot recommend this Chinese enough - it has the eat as much as you like buffet but unlike other restaurants it is all freshly cooked and on our first of many visits there we didnt realise that if we all ordered a starter we got enough for everyone on the table, not just for the person who ordered it. Regarding the issue of height with children on here, I agree it would be annoying to have to pay adult prices but the owners are extremely nice and I can only image it was confusion on both parts. Overall I agree with the previous reviewer to me - top food and cannot recommend enough.

  • 5 star reviewVery surprised at the comments left here. Being a 2 minute drive down the road, Peking Garden is our local chinese. However, even if it was 30 minutes away, my wife and I would still travel the distance to visit. The food is superb, and having visited many chinese restaurants over the years all over the south-east and London, no other restaurant has come close to the quality of food and value as here. The variety of food is good, and is a comfortable setting. It's not the cheapest all-you-can-eat, but the food is freshly cooked, and always comes out steaming hot. Admittedly, a couple of downsides are that it can sometimes be a slightly cold environment, but the staff will always change the air-con if you're uncomfortable. Also, occasionally found the service to be slightly "abrupt", though I have found this with a number of chinese and have found it them trying to be fast and efficient rather than rude. Overall, the best chinese all-you-can-eat in the Hastings/Eastbourne area, well worth a visit to sample the high quality of food, using the freshest ingredients.

  • 1 star reviewWanted to take the family out for dinner it being mum's birthday, what a mistake going here, the children where to tall at age 11 to have a children's menu we were informed when requesting the bill, even thought they did not even have a main course at a so called eat as much as you like restaurant, adults being £16.95 and children being £7.95 a head, we where charge all adult prices we went to the restaurant at 6.15 the place was empty cold and very uninviting ,when asking the owner why i had been charged for 5 adult when there was only 2 he became very very aggressive and rude and loud to the point off violent i would strongly recommend not going to this place unless you have very short children!!!!

  • 1 star reviewUnfortunately a wong restaurant to visit. We were told certain Items on the menu would take 20 minutes and when agreed we were told they were not available. Chicken dishes tasted very strange almost as though they were using processed ingredients. Service only average and the only thing that stood out was the bill - certainly will not be going back!
