• Myself, my husband & our 2 children aged 9 & 6 regularly have a carvery at Palfreys on a sunday. The children & I love it, it's always fresh & tasty. The amazing thing is so does my husband! At last we've found an eatery that meets his high standards (believe me he's like pleasing Gordon Ramsey) he's particularly fond of the steak pie. Get yourselves to Palreys you won't be dissapointed :-)

• i went to this pub at 12:30 with two family members and two young children ordered 3 carvery s and two childrens hot dog & chips kids meals the kids went and played in the play area which i noticed looking very run down.there was no carvery food left and it took over a hour and a half to start cooking the children s meals i was very unhappy with the service and had two very hungry kids i advise nobody should eat here!!

• I feel this pub has gone downhill over the last few months.The bonfire night fireworks display this year wasn't a patch on previous years also it was advertised at £4 entry fee for adults and £2 for children yet we were charged £5 each on the night as we had not bought wrist bands in advance but were given one on the night.Very disappointed so will not be attending future events

• Beautiful food, with grate play area for the children, and very well trained staff.. So nice!!! :-)
