• Just back in the area. Nice Deco but sadly not the same as when Mr Dennett was at the helm. Was informed that 3 managers since Mr Dennett finished had some nice times there. Esp weekends

• The new Inn has recently undergone a fantastic transformation meals are great staff are friendly and the atmosphere is second to none would recommend it to anyone.

• Heard someone new had taken over so called in to see if it had improved from my last visit, gotta say the standards have greatly improved. We had a lovely meal followed by a nice relaxing drink by the canal. Will be calling again.

• The New Inn is now under new management and receiving positive feedback from customers. Friendly welcoming staff, great food at reasonable prices and entertainment on a weekend. would highly recommend a visit.

• whent in for a birthday family meal found that pub had gone back to brewery and brewery menu which was rubbish cafe food at restaurant prices should have been buy one get one free never again 14 01 2014

• Recently visited the new inn and cannot express my delight with the service but most of all the food. It's delicious and also quick service a vast improvement on the previous owners would recommend it to anyone

• Recently visited the New Inn with friends for lunch. We couldn't believe how the standards had dropped since new owners had taken over. The choices had depleted on the menu and the cleanliness was also sub-standard. I ordered fish and chips and the batter was soggy and it was hard to spot the fish. I complained, but no apology was forthcoming. Our friends were also very disappointed with their meals - one had to send back their meal as it was cold. The wine was also corked We use to be regular visitors, but we'll never go again.

• We booked Christmas dinner 3 months ago whilst the old owners were in charge as we have had some fantastic meals in the pub if we had known how the standards of service and the quality of the food had declined we would have canceled 4 meals cost 170 pounds even allowing for Christmas day they were worth 2 for a tenner.BE WARNED

• We reserved a table for 7.15pm. We were not approached by the staff until 7.53pm to take our order. The meal did not arrive until 8.12pm. The service was disgusting. There were no apologies for the tardiness. No wonder some customers walked out.
