  • 4 star reviewSuch a lovely day I found this pub halfway up a hill and I must say it was very pleasant. It had nice clean walkways going in and the beer garden out the back is bigger than inside! Double Vodka and Coke at you can't go wrong and the staff were pleasant and kept themselves busy whilst being able to talk to you at the same time! Will be popping back soon!

  • 4 star reviewHad food here today ... what an amazing looking menu for such a small pub ... others were eating too and their burgers looked sublime but opted to try the Steak instead! Wow! Really nice cut of Beef ... not had a Steak as nice as that in a long time! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Have been here once or twice in evenings too and love the Thursday quiz and the fact they have Sky Sports. Top Notch

  • 4 star reviewI have to say was very taken aback by how much this pub has changed for the better! 10 years ago I wouldn't have come in here .... now it is safe, with a great atmosphere and i have started drinking regularly in here for the past month! I've never known an atmosphere like it where the landlords mix so well with the punters and I was welcomed instantly! If you are new to swansea Saturday night karaoke is a must .. it is easily the craziest night I have been to! Top Notch! Well done!

  • 1 star reviewI would have given no stars but as that's not an option, I had to give it one. Where to start?! The fat barmen were incredibly rude and noticeably unhygienic. Do not order any beer on tap (especially the San Miguel), they taste rancid and watery. Also you will be fortunate to get a clean glass. The floor and surfaces were dirty and sticky, just like the clientele! If you're brave enough to venture into the toilet, please remember your wellingtons.

  • 4 star reviewThis is probably the best pub I have ever been to. I say this as I have been stung into action but what I can only say is a false review. The atmosphere on a Friday & Saturday night is electric and have very rarely seen any trouble since the current owners took the place on! I can only suggest that the previous reviewer came on a rare off night as all regulars have been most welcoming of me and my family and are very welcoming to students and locals alike! Although some of the older generations (who play darts) can get a bit wound up by rowdy and unneeded behaviour! and find the idea of someone throwing a can in a pub which does not serve cans incredibly unlikely. In summary I would recommend this pub to everyone old and young!

  • 1 star reviewinitially i thought this pub was great. friendly staff and great atomosphere. but as the night progressed the regular patrons were far from welcoming. my friend and myself were told to keep quiet because we were upsetting the darts players, tis only darts. as i was in the gents i hear various guys moaning about myself and my friend, with pointed looks in my direction, again, tis only darts. as we left an empty can was flung in our direction. i will not be visiting again.
