• Avoid this garage. Purchased a car late September 2012 and had to spend a lot of money on it already. The car's electrical unit is now completely broken and i have had no response from the garage. I am now taking my case further

• Avoid this garage at all costs. Purchased a car from there one year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it since. It now needs so much work doing to it that we have to get rid of it once and for all. Garage owner never returned calls, was full of lies and broken promises. AVOID.

• Avoid avoid avoid. Purchased a spacious car in January 2012 to specifically use for the birth of our twins the following month. Within a few days, the car was having problems starting and there then commenced what felt like an everlasting cycle of taking the car back to be looked at, Simon confirming that the car was fixed, the car not starting again, being returned again and so on. In the meantime our twins were born and we had no car! All of this trouble was further exacerbated by Simon never ever returning phonecalls (not once). A few months down the line once the car had been to and fro many times, we asked Simon which garage he was taking the car to and he refused to tell us. We asked if we could take it to a garage ourselves to be fixed and have the bill forwarded to him and he refused. It all came to a head in the summer when he refused to do anything else to try and fix the car so we took it to our own garage who found the problem straight away. By luck, the garage owner knew of Simon and asked him if he would pay. He paid some of it but we had to stump up £190. We are now in September and the car is again having trouble starting. We wish we'd never visited Midland Car Centre. Simon also promised a new gear stick upon sale of the car to us in January 2012. We never received a new gear stick, just promise after promise that it was on it's way.

• Ford Fiesta is the 3rd car we have bought from Midland cars for the family. Friendly and professional service. Had a problem with our second car but was sorted out very fast and professionally. 3 years since our first car still running well. Would recommend

• Avoid at all costs.Bought a car in december,3 months warranty,from day 1 had problems,turbo cut out. Fobbed off with will call you back tomorrow.Finally they got it diagnosed,numerous times with no pinpoint to the problem.The car is dangerous as it cuts out at high speeds.he then tried different parts he put on himself to try and fix it,no avail.The car broke down on us had to have it towed to a garage and have it diagnosed ourselves,paying full cost.Pointed at a couple of problems.After all this time wasting we have rejected the car now to be told he has no money to offer us back but he manages to keep getting new vehicles in his forecourt.Always wait until tomorrow with him.Did our own detective work and found out our car had come from auction which he lied about telling us different.Looks like we will have to go to court as we now have a car that we cannot use and still having to pay to keep it on the road! Total scammer.
