• Browsing the MB Motor Group website I was surprised to read negative comments, this has prompted me to relate my own experience . I can say this is the first time I have reviewed anything, but could not believe what I was reading, I can only say to any dissatisfied customer that my own dealings are not one off but years of very acceptable assistance and willingness to help. Several years ago my wife took off with a friend? and left me almost bankrupt. Desperate for some wheels this company was suggested as being able to help, with four buses a day to and from work, anything was a good idea. Seeing the mouth-watering cars in the showroom left me in no doubt that I was wasting my time. How wrong can you be, the salesman could not have been more helpful, he overcame my debt problems and within days I was down the road in my first VW golf. I am now on my fourth purchase and would not consider buying elsewhere, even when I call in to daydream about future possibilities I am talked to ( not pestered) by friendly staff. Same comments apply to my dealings with servicing and MOT workshops. Well done!

• Very poor service from this company. In their showroom they were reticent to give previous history of a particular car and answer various other questions. I left the place with no intention of purchasing a car from people who couldn't answer the most basic questions.

• I called the company about a 3 series BMW i had seen on the internet. When i got there the price of the car was higher on the car than i saw it advertised. I was approached by a very nervous salesman who seemed to be looking over his should everytime i asked him a question, he never answered me direct and he would always answer with something completely different to what i had asked. It was a vey strange experience and i didn't feel comfortable, there seemed an air of aggression about the place. I asked if i could see the cars papers, the salesman cameback with the wrong papers and it took him another 15 minutes to find them. They all seemed in order apart from he had told me the car had only just come into stock and i noticed it had been MOT'd by Mb Motor Group in Bradford 3 months earlier and the previous MOT had expired 2 months before that. I asked if i could take the car for a drive and the salesmans face was one of sheer terror, he asked me if i had a part exchange and i said no, he asked how i was paying for the car and i said it would be paid on my debit card, he went away and came back all redfaced and said to me that i will by the car if he took me for a drive in it, i said yes, it seemed so bizzare, the salesman walked off and cameback 5 minutes later with a redface again, he asked again if i was going to buy the car and again i said yes. 1 hour had gone past by this time and i was no further foward, back came the salesman again with a form to sign, once again he asked me if i was going to buy the car, once again i replied with yes. So after 1 hour we went out in the BMW, i wasn't allowed to drive the car, i couldn't believe i had driven for 2 hours, sat for an hour while the salesman walked up and down looking like he was scared and then i was told i couldn't drive the car because he hadn't taken a copy of my driving licence. It was getting beyond the joke, i asked the salesman if he wanted to sell me the car and he told me that it was the company policy not to let people drive the cars and to get as much money as possible out of the customer, he seemed so relieved to tell me this as though he was saying it wasn't his fault, i was trying to make conversation with him about the background of the company and he said that he didn't like working there, the owners spoke to the staff really bad and they pressured him into lying all the time, he said he would be in serious trouble if i didn't buy the BMW because he had taken me for a drive in it. When we went back and satdown to talk the salesman he walked off and came back with the owner, this horrible little person had no manners what so ever and said i was wasting the companys time and that they should charge me money for going out in the car. I told him that i wasn't comfortable buying a car from them as they way they act when selling a car was bad enough and i would hate to go back to them with a problem with the car. I got up to leave and as i passed this other office with mirrored glass another man stood in the doorway with his eyes popping out at me giving me dirty looks. All in all this was a horrendous expierence and reading the true reviews on here i know i made the right descsion not to buy from them whatever the price.I dread to think how the salesman was treated when i left. I bought a car the next day under relaxed circumstances for the price it was advertised.

• "A suprisingly good service in these modern times" Visit www.mbmotorgroup.co.uk I was made to feel welcome with the showroom well presented. The sales executive was helpful and my new car was well presented on handover. The overall experience was good and I would buy from MB again, would recommend them to my family and friends. A suprisingly good service in these modern times. Adam was much better than I expected having had experience of previous salesmen over the years. Well done Thanks MB & Adam

• Most rubbish after sale service I have ever received. On viewing the car I was advised there are no marks or scratches on car, after I'd fully paid and took the car away there was huge scuff on the passenger side skirt. When checked on website pictures you can just about see this. Took back car in less than 24hours to be told I'd have to pay for repair. I refused to do so, Have been waiting for 3 days and no one got back to me, wheni had toput deposit down i was called 3 times in one day yet when i have an issue i dont get a call back. Would highly recommend not to purchase from here.

• Extremely poor customer service. I requested simple vehicle details: Does it have a full MOT & FSH? But received no answers. I asked for a delivery quote, and all I got was: "You need to come and see the vehicle, we wouldn't send it to you". I live well over 100 miles away from Leeds and the vehicle in question was going to be a present for my father. I would have paid for the vehicle in full via bank transfer (which I had previously offered to do). To sum up, I requested very simple details prior to making a purchase and MB Motor Group basically fobbed me off with idle excuses, the writing of which would have been better spent answering my questions.
