• I agree - they are still my favourite chinese even after 20 years, going away to uni and leaving the area. The family is so friendly and the chinese food is great!

• All these bad reviews about fish and chips, if you want fish and chips, go to a proper chippy! My opinion, Mayflower has the best Chinese food in town, staff are very friendly also.

• Fish and chips are overcooked and burnt, not much fish, Chips either greasy or dry and very disappointed. Will not go there again!

• Worst fish and chips ever. Burnt batter, dried up fish. Chips had been reheated and were dried and hard. Gave it one star as now and again the fish is quite good. Never the same twice. Come on guys be consistent

• Great little place. Always busy in there. Chips are never greasy and the chinese is amazing especially the chow mein!
