• BEWARE OF THIS MAN! Mark comes across as a friendly, professional and knowledgable man when you first meet him. Appearances are deceptive and it becomes shockingly clear when you have even some basic experience with building work and speak to him at length. The work he started at our home was, for want of a better phrase, absolutely rubbish. After waiting 4 weeks for him to start work after getting my builder to arrange for scaffolding and road closure, he was made to leave site. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Mark talks a very goof talk with all his ‘absolutely’ but produces nothing and asking around the Umberleigh area, he is known as a ‘google thatcher’ and is the reason he doesn’t get much work in the local area and is almost impossible to get him to return if there is ever a problem. Don’t get sucked in by his fancy website, his charming manners and his competitive prices. Obviously, there’s two sides to every story but I can be contacted at mekkannatrix@gmail.com and I can back up my story with photos, independent surveys and phone records.
