• I must say, I was shocked at how the female owner answered her phone to me. I call early evening on 14 August out of desperation for boarding my dog (going on holiday the next day, was let down by friend). The owner was very rude and anoyed because I called her out of hours. Shocking for really for a business owner. Nil stars rating from me!!!

• I left my dog at Lilac Cottage hoping that she would be looked after, and when I picked her up she was fine, she did smell but hey she was in a kennel with plenty of room for a week. The owners are friendly and I would recommend them.

• Not going to get our repeat business.. Dogs really dirty, and smelly.. Took several baths to un mat their fur and rid the smell and they were only there for 3 nights. Owners seemed quite harsh as they wouldn't let dogs take in personal quilt for scent etc

• Have used these kennels regularly over several years for my two Labradors. The owners are lovely and my dogs are always happy to go there, and return home happy, having been well looked after. I was most surprised to see a negative review.

• didnt seem to have looked after our dog as we thought they would,wont use them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• i wont use this kennel again my dog was stressed, had lost weight,and was covered in wee and dirty, as was her blanket and toys they were as filthy has her.some were even missing.
