• I visit the the area several times a year and always receive excellent service and an excellent quality of meals. My wife enjoys chats with the friendly bar staff and I love a fee pints of real ale. An excellent pub and restaurant, I recommend it to anyone.

• stayed here for 6days in octber lovely clean rooms &comfortable bed staff very friendly especialy the 2 Leannes will definately visit again good selection of beers7locals very friendly

• As a family of 13 we booked for "Mothers Day" lunch. Although most of us enjoyed our lunch I had asked for Pork only to be given a large dolope of fat. Another member of the family also asked for Pork and she was given a large dolope of fat too which neither of us could eat, so that was dissapointing. Also the 95p sweets were taken off the menu which lead to most of us not ordering sweet, had they left it on the menu then £13.00 would have been added to the bill. Overall, we will not be coming back for "special occasion" meals in the future. Sunday lunches are very good value though. Also one member of staff kept bullying another member of staff (a young lad ) in front of customers, - Not good !
