"Traditional family run pub set in a semi rural location near Barlaston. We offer home cooked food, real ales and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. There is a open log fire in winter months.We also have a function room all occasions catered for weddings, parties, christenings, wakes etc seating for up to 150 people.We have a camping and caravan field at just £7.00 per night no electric hook up. "

• Me and my future husband wanted to book the function room for our wedding , so today we paid a visit. A lovely place with so much character and a log fire, with a very warm welcome from Tracy whom was very lovely, helpful and frendly. The function room is perfect for our big day! We stayed to have a meal and ....wow....I can't remember when I have tasted food cooked to such perfection!

• comfort food really good not like microwaved 2 4 1 rubbish you get in most pubs they do make it themselves very reasonable and frendly try the stew with dumplings and crusty bread fantastic
