• Just to say how disappointed I was with the service I had. I booked a taxi the week before as i didn't want to have to phone up on the day and wait. When my taxi was 5 minutes late I had to phone up anyway and was told it was on its way. But it was not on its way was the guy I spoke to over the phone was the same guy who picked me up so he hadn't even left yet! Ten minutes later I phoned as it still wasn't there and was told it was two minutes away. So my taxi was 15 minutes late. Is this acceptable? I needn't point out that if I had been getting the taxi to the airport I probably would have missed my flight. On route the driver decided to pass wind and it was absolutely disgusting and I felt sick. Could he really not wait until I was out of the taxi? I do this trip often and I always pay £18 and normally give a £2 tip. I had already decided that the taxi driver would NOT be getting a tip due to the lateness so when he charged me £20 I was furious as he did not in any way deserve the tip. I feel that I have been cheated. I almost laughed when I read on the receipt 'reliable, friendly and fairly priced' as it was the exact opposite of my experience. It should read: 'always late, passing wind and willing to rip you off'. Asked for a response to the above complaint via email and was ignored.
