  • 5 star reviewMarvellous. Called in on the off chance and I am glad we did! Fabulous food and a super play area for the children. We have already been back twice.

  • 5 star reviewTaken there for a belated Father's Day lunch and could not have been more pleased. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the food was faultless. My wife and I will most definitely be going back.

  • 1 star reviewMy family and I are upset to see, yet again, a dog being kept in solitary confinement in a dingey kennel near the rubbish bins to the rear of The Kilcot. Shameful.

  • 1 star reviewWent to the KIlcot for the second time having deciding to give it another chance after we had what can only be describe as a very bad meal there three months ago. The vegetables were way over cooked with the lamb being 90% fat and chicken as dry as a bone. Not a very good impression given how good we heard it was. On our second visit we didn't even get to eat, as they had a wedding and it seemed to hell with every one else. We won't be going there again nor will we be recommending it.

  • 5 star reviewWent to the Kilcot Inn after it was recommended to us. Had a fantastic meal, couldnt fault it apart from the fact that it was too tempting and had to have a sweet aswell. Quite busy and seens as it was a Tuesday thought this was good. Excellent service and would definetley go back. It is more of an eating place rather than a cosy pub, but none the less was very good.

  • 4 star reviewAbove comments obviously written by competitors! Went there last night. Fabulous food, extremely busy for a Monday night and a good atmosphere. All the staff were bright and cheerful and made you feel welcome. Recently refurbished, a few things still need tweeking but would still thoroughly recommended it.

  • 1 star reviewFour of us had lunch at the Kilcot Inn today; what a disaster! Poor service, awful 'hot' pork 'baguettes'. The pork was barely luke warm and the 'baguettes, tasted like the cheapest LIDL's baps if you can imagine that. We waited 10 minutes for our soft drinks order to arrive from the bar at the beginning of the meal and another 10 minutes before we managed to attract the attention of our, seemingly, preoccupied waitress. The side order of chips (£5.00) was awful; soggy and overcooked, kept luke warm over the deep fat fryer we presume? Lackadaisical service, poor quality food; get a sandwich from a service station instead! A really disappointing lunchtime experience!

  • 1 star reviewnice refurbishment although does feel a little souless - the barman/manager appeared sullen and disinterested when serving us - food is served from six in the evening when we asked if we could order food we were told they were fully booked - WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE PUB - we were not offered to eat in the bar area or given an alternative just told no fully booked - still we then went onto the Glasshouse at nearby May Hill which was fantastic the food was amazing and the service superb, the bar staff were quick efficient and welcoming the landlord was jolly and had a good sense of humour highly recommended - also if near to the kilcot you may as well continue onto the Roadmaker just along the road another fantastic pub/restaurant run by ex Ghurka regiment fantastic food again and great service - DONT BOTHER WITH THE KILCOT ITS EASIER TO GET BETTER SERVICE AND FOOD NEARBY
