• Trying to buy a door lock for an internal door today I sought advice from the Advice Desk at Tiverton Homebase to be told they didn't know anything about locks although I had one in my hand. I asked for someone who DID know about locks and a call went out to which no-one responded. Eventually a teenage boy wandered past and was called over who told me that he too knew nothing about locks. I asked again for someone who DID know to be told that everyone was upstairs (presumably in the staff room?). I said someone here must know something about locks as you sell a large number of them to be met with blank stares. I then said could you ask the store manager to come down to be told 'Well HE won't know anything about locks!' Complete waste of time, the store deserves to fold. I don't want to award any stars below but there isn't a minus rating.
