• Staff not friendly no smile quite rude tables a mess as staff were all on break food nice and hot don't think I will go again staff attitude

• Lovely peacefull pub.plenty of parking,staff are pleasant, plates are tiny,meat cooked beautifully, roasters nice. cabbage has onions in, so i dont have onions on a roast dinner yet other people may well do.mash spud lumpy, carrots are like bullets. swede lumpy, if you get your veg right , which is easy to do if you know how, im sure it will be a supurb lunch,tinned carrots would be better than the ones served up here, lovely place if you like roasters and meat and gravy and yorkshires, we went twice in a week, the weekday menu is the same as sunday menu, except in the week its 4.19p a portion, oon a sunday its 7.29p a portion, as its a sunday i suppose?try a little harder and that place will always be full.

• Excellent value car dry in a pleasant atmosphere, the waitresses are cheerful and the chefs efficient. Only downside is the poor manners of the girl behind the bar, same today as last week, no smile and certainly no thank you. We will go again as my wife is having treatment nearby.

• This used to be very good value for money. Now, however, they have cut back on the meals for the same price giving you a much smaller plat calling it a smaller portion! Yet another pub will lose customers for getting too greedy. There is recession on and they would do well to remember that!
