• We meet at the Half Moon the last Thursday of every month, there is usually between six and nine of us. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is very good. The food is wonderful and there is always a very good choice from the main menu as well as a very good specials board. We all especially like the chips and when you have vegetables it is always fresh not your microwaved or frozen variety that a lot of pubs do these days they are not your normal ping and ding meals that most pubs offer. *****

• Can't understand the other review. I have eaten here several times in the last year and always had a good experience with a great choice of well cooked meals.

• Ate at the Half Moon several times in the last 12 months or so and always found the food to be of excellent quality, varied menu and friendly service. I would not have returned to this establishment if the food was " disgusting" Do not take any notice of her comment, try it for yourself you will not be dissappointed.
