  • 5 star reviewWe had a brilliant stay for our Wedding Anniversay, it was everything we hoped for. Thank you all!

  • 5 star reviewI was thrilled with my surprise 80th Birthday Party arranged by my children, it was wonderful and Hafton Castle was the perfect venue. Comfortable and relaxing, super swimming children for the great grandchildren, we couldn't get them out and the large reception rooms were really good gathering places. The snooker table led to the O'Brien Family Snooker Tournament! Very exciting to watch I didn't realise how competitive my family were. All in all it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful part of Scotland and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

  • 5 star reviewOur wedding at Hafton Castle was fantastic! A big thank you to Peter and Yvonne , they were very welcoming and helpful. Self catering was perfect for us, no corkage, freedom to do our own catering , flowers etc, we liked that l hafton castle was comfortable, lots of space and the bonus of ensure bathrooms in all the rooms, no sharing!!! our guests were happy and became great friends over the stay. The pool was fantastic for the children.

  • 5 star reviewHafton Castle was wonderful, so spacious with lots of room for our party of 40 to comfortably sit and catch up. It was great to have en-suite facilities too, such a nice change from having to share bathrooms in other self catering properties. The swimming pool was marvellous for the children as was the large garden, all in all a lovely stay. We were made most welcome and would recommend it for holidays.

  • 4 star reviewWe were part of a large (39 people) party who enjoyed a family reunion at Hafton. It was perfect as there were many comfortable, public rooms, creating a flexible space for us to use. The variable sized bedrooms, all en-suite, were clean and well presented but do need some updating - especially the showers. The large pool was great for all the family and we made ourselves "at home". The kitchen is large but badly planned and needs a rethink. The grounds were lovely and well maintained with loads of play equipment for the children. The location is just minutes from the car ferry and road accessibility to Glasgow, Loch Lomand, Inverary etc is good. All in all a good venue which suited our needs. It would be a great place for a murder mystery weekend.

  • 5 star reviewWhat an amazing trip, wedding and vacation we had at Hafton Castle. Peter and Yvonne were absolutely fantastic and are doing an amazing job at taking care of Hafton. They made us feel completely at home and relaxed during our stay - not to mention helpful in ways that we cant even begin to thank them for. Hafton Castle is truly an amazing place and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Justin and I would love to write up reviews for the castle. All of our guests had a wonderful time and were simply amazed by the castle, its rooms and amenities. I hope we have an opportunity to return one day. Alos we highly suggest our bagpiper and band...Ian's food was amazing and his staff did a great job catering. We also wanted to thank you for all of your help. You are one of the main reason's we chose Hafton Castle. Your quick turn around on emails and questions put us at ease throughout our planning!

  • 4 star reviewI organised a family reunion at Hafton Castle for 39 members of my family who were travelling from Australia, America and Canada and it couldn't have been more successful. The Castle was a perfect venue with great public areas and a great swimming pool. Yvonne and Peter were very welcoming and helpful. Would definately recommend it to others

  • 1 star reviewA huge thumbs down. The owners were dismissive and uncaring. They did not provide the basics and did not provide what they had promised. The place was filthy and full of cheap fixtures and fittings particularly in the bathrooms with leaking taps. There was mould and water damage all over the place. Don't book this place unless you look carefully at all the accommodation and facilities and get a written guarantee or contract from the owners for what they are supposed to provide. Very very disappointed. Deserves no stars.

  • 1 star reviewAttended a wedding here over the past weekend for 4 days, the castle was in terrible condition everything was water damaged, the conservatory leaked so bad we had to completely rearrange the wedding tables. We couldn't use the pool table due to leaks and weren't allowed to use the jacuzzi in the pool. The place was dirty and the showers didn't drain properly. The kitchen was filthy with mould on the plates, it hasn't been cleaned at all prior to our entry. The bathrooms in the bedrooms were disgusting. No soap or toilet roll provided, I'm aware it is self catering but they normally provide the basics! The place was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. The owners seemed not to care that the bride and groom were so upset with the place. Would give 0 stars of I could!!

  • 5 star reviewA huge thank you for an amazing week, one that friends and family will talk about for a long time...a most wonderful setting. We cannot thank you all enough for making the whole week so spectacular and unique and most of all the support rendered us during our memorable stay. Surely it was a magical experience. Everything is highly commendable.
