• I bought a golf r32 once and it was like brand new. Good car good person to buy from. I also had a BMW X5 before that from the same company. Never a problem.

• Mark is your best friend before you part with any money,but when things go wrong it's a different story. He tries to avoid paying for any repairs by telling you to , in effect, bully the manufacturers into repairing the vehicle for free, despite the fact that he gives a three month warranty that " covers absolutely everything " - stressing that you must not reveal that you bought the vehicle from him. This man can turn on you unexpectedly, becoming rude, obnoxious and highly offensive - I cannot believe the way he spoke to my wife, reducing her to tears. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID ! ! !

• Please be wary of this company,when things go wrong their attitude can change completely, and you too may be subjected to extremely offensive, personal verbal comments, no matter how reasonable you have been. PLEASE heed this warning if you are considering dealing with these people.

• Appalling. Mark is your best friend until the deal is done. The three month warranty "only covers breakdowns" despite Sale of Goods Act requiring him to repair any defects. My car had a timing chain problem which he tried to insist was BMW's problem to fix. Once it actually broke down, it took him 6 weeks to get a new engine fitted (he claimed it was other people's problem and 'was on holiday' for most of the time, not bothering to have his company chase things up for me) which then promptly overheated. When I tried to have the car returned under the Sale of Goods Act (as is my right under the law) he refused, he argued back and forward with my solicitor that me exercising my legal rights was 'inappropriate' and then started reporting that his business 'had no money' when I got close to actually taking him to court. I never successfully returned the car, still have it, and it is still causing me problems. The man plays nice until he has your money, but then doesn't want to know when the products he sells have major problems. Avoid at all costs.

• Reply from HS Cars My friend, you live in Scotland and we are based on the south coast. You travelled down and part exchanged a car which required a new exhaust. The car was mot'd before collection, only two tyres were advised which again you were aware of. You were also on the understanding that the car was sold as it is. You have purchased a 10yr old Range Rover. You mention sidesteps.? Why because we post 20 pictures of our cars and none of them showed any sidesteps fitted. The mileage was 79,000 when we first placed the advert, we used the car and did not change the advert to reflect this. This I can accept just 4000 miles difference is not like 40,000 miles. The Nav did work but the Tv won't as digital. I am sorry the whole of the UK now use digital TV. To sum up, this is our first complaint on the whole website search engines after 10 yrs of trading with over 3000 cars now sold. I am pleased we rarely meet customers like you. • avoid these guys at all cost they falsley describe cars on there website and autotrader etc my wife bought a range rove vouge from them described as follows 79k miles actually done 83k miles sat nav tv none of them work, steering adjustment not working, side steps... no side steps 3 x illegal tyres, various dents and scratches not mentioned and will do nothing to remedy!! avoid avoid avoid!!!! if i could give them zero stars i would!
