• I have eaten in the ghurka frequently,I cannot fault anything about the staff or restaurant. The buffet style full english breakfast is just £3.95 eat as much as you like ,these people have got it right what a splendid idea well done. Another time I went for lunch it was amazing buffet style so fresh and tasty . The food is so good yes I went back again I just had to try the dinner,oh wow its beautiful everything presented lovely the staff so helpful and friendly even the compliments from the staff boosted my ego when i was complimented in her thinking my son was my husband thank you for that ,as a single parent i will continue to visit you more often .

• My wife and i only stopped at the Gurkha by chance one day, we had just driven from Peterborough to Dorset then on to Aberystwyth and back to Dorset, we were both extremely hungry, as we passed the Gurkha, my wife said can you turn around as we need to eat, i can only say that it was the best U-TURN i have made for a long time, the welcome was so friendly and the food that was on offer was quite simply mouth-watering. Now we visit the Gurkha at Sandford at least 2 times a week, and please do not worry so much about the cost of eating here,you really can not go wrong with the food on offer and the price they ask for it, and you can eat as much as you want. Thumbs up for the Gurkha at Sandford, from Mark and Oksana now living in Swanage, Dorset.
