• I have only heard great things about the food here and was shocked to read four bad reviews online. The good I heard is by word of mouth and that carries more weight than those of strangers online.

• This pub is excellent! The staff are faultless the food is exceptional! The other reviews on this page seem to be more concerned on how an individual looks. I witnessed none of the issues raised. I highly recommend this little country Inn, you won't be disappointed!

• I have eaten in over a thousand pubs and restaurants in my life and I have never been treated as bad as I was at the Green Dragon. The staff were very impolite and constantly lied about when our meals would arrive. After over 1½ hours wait, we gave up and left, having been told to stop whinging about a few minutes wait!

• just had a terrible time, staff were bad mannered lied, we were there an hour and a half no food came noone came to explain why, walked out in the end.we had already booked and were treated like this.

• We had heard mixed reviews about this pub in recent months and decided to give it a chance, What a mistake!. The gammon was the toughest we've ever encountered, The rice with the curry was reheated but not warm enough to be considered safe (a note to the chef on unsafe practice...) finally the 'gourmet' burger is anything but!, two of the thinnest and cheapest burgers I've ever seen in a bun with a packet cheese square and some rubber like substance which was meant to be bacon. Poor Poor Poor 0/10 I'm affraid.

• The green dragon is admittedly the worst experience of both food and service I have ever received. I am not normally one to make a complaint, however this place is an extreme cause for concern! Myself and my partner had heard and ok review on the pub, rating the food but not the service, we decided since we were in the area to try, to much disappointment. Food was cold, slow, lack of option, undercooked and tasted as though it had been hanging around. However the service to which myself and my partner receive is unacceptable. We were served by a large blonde/ awfull ginger roots girl, her language was absolutely vile, swearing, looking miserable and extremely rude! Would certainly not recommend.
