• I called at the Grapes yesterday whilst visiting the area and I received a warm welcome from the hosts 'Lee and 'Tracy' who have spent time and money on refurbishing and giving the place a fresh look :-) I dont normally drink mild but the Chestnut Mild is amazing. The Inn has a warm friendly atmosphere and I highly recommend the Grapes Inn to everyone :-)

• visited the grapes on my way to the old town.to say it is old fashioned is an understatement,very run down,could do with a complete overhaul.money spent on bowling green at the back of the premises should have been spent on the pub itself.bought abrandy and coke and coke was served out of a bottle,coke was flat,very unprofessional.
