• We have had roast dinner here on quite a few sundays here and there, meat has been tender and lovely. veg very nice. Have never had any problems .

• PLEASE EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION. And admin please post this ASAP. I was eating in the Golden Lion today 22/7/14 having a roast when i noticed the meat was off. When i went up to complain i spotted two rats running from kitchen to under sink in bar area. PLEASE for you own and others health do not use this pub

• No a great place to go. The Landlady Irene is very rude to both her staff and Customers alike, She takes to making you feel like you are nothing but Money to her. Overall worth a miss

• Have drank in there a couple of Times found two members of staff very polite and helpful, Believe their names are Paul and Audrey. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the other staff or Landlady.
