• Oh Dear I went to view a vehicle today. I'll not mention which one as its not good to do so. The vehicle looked outstanding. I have a mechanical background so started to look around the vehicle and thought it was spot on. Alarm bells started to ring when the young man said he was on his own so I could only test drive it on the premises. Drove around in circles until the car was warmed up LOL and noticed the SAT Nav wasn't working. The module was missing from the glovebox so no Satnav. The fine young chap answered you can get one from ebay for £150 I tell people it's a bonus to have Satnav. Fabulous answer (NOT). Next thing I noticed a strong smell that smelt like brake fluid but I could confirm this. Got out of the car and noticed lots of liquid, on the ground where id been doing my circles. Went into the office and found out that he wasn't working alone. Make sure you check for hidden faults before you view a car from these guys. I can honestly say I won't return. One point the young Gent was very polite.

• Thanks to the company and junior in particular for his assistance with the purchase of my Vauxhall Corsa. I have had it for 3 weeks now and have found it to be just what I wanted. when I bought the car, it was serviced and this service brought up several problems, such as the window switch not functioning. these were all rectified before it was passed over to me. many thanks and will definitely recommend without hesitation.

• Bought a nice Audi S4. Called to make sure its ok and left deposit over the telephone which i was assured was refundable if i did not like the vehicle. Ashley was a good guy who made sure the car was perfect for me. Will come back in the future. Thanks again Colin Bowness

• AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Ashley reassured me that the car is in perfect mechanical condition and just few scratches around. I traveled all the way from London and bought the car as I didn't mind the bodywork condition. 200 miles later, the car had leaks coming from the gearbox, engine and the cooling system. I am not even sure how I made it back home! Next morning they didn't want to hear about my problems and said that I had a choice and nobody forced me to buy the car which now will cost me extra £2000. I am not sure how these people sleep at night while they play with people's lives. Do not even bother talking to them, just browse around and see what people think about their service!!!

• Very disappointed with the customer service I recieved this afternoon (22/07/2013) , I was kept waiting for quite a while and when I did get seen the young man (unsure of his name but a slim chap) , looked me up and down straight away and was very abrupt and rude with any questions I had. I enquired about 2 range rovers , 1 for £10,000 and 1 just over £13,000. The car sales man who did not take me seriously at all would do well to remember not to judge a book by its cover, I went in today dressed in casual clothing and rightly so did not look like a "range rover driver" and also maybe i looked young and the car sales man thought i was a time waster however i can assure any one reading this review i was not and had actually made my mind up on purchasing 1 of the cars. I am seriously considering about taking my business else where even though i did like the car. The car sales man also made it quite clear no test drive would be allowed untill the car was a definate purchase and practically paid for? Why would anybody buy a car without a test drive ??? I did visit this same garage either last week or the week before and the sales man who helped me then with my enquiry about a land rover discovery could have not have been more helpful and polite even though they were about to close. It is unfortunate that my experience today has probably cost Global Automobiles my business.

• Very helpful. Didnt call them beforehand, as i like to just turn up within the opening hours so the car doesent get molested before i get there. The car was as described, i asked for a discount which i didnt manage to get but they kindly offered to put 12 month road tax for free as a gesture of good will. Would recommend. Mark Ainsworth.

• Not trustworthy, would avoid. Gave me all the assurances before buying the car, then when had problems they didn't want to know and said read small print. Get everything in writing and make sure you have the car check by someone else, good prices but you get what you pay for. No warranty and their word means nothing.

• Bought a Mercedes S320 on the 5th of November 2012. Rang up and spoke to Ashley, he advised me to leave a small deposit over the telephone and explained the vehicle to me inc the history. Was reluctant to leave a deposit at first but went ahead and did. Caught the train from Bristol to Blackburn and was collected at the station by Paul from Global Automobiles. Car was as perfect, history was genuine and they changed the oil for me before i left. Ii also got 5 days free insurance from Ashley with a covernote before i left. Perfect car from a honest garage. • I was looking for a reliable used mercedes for my work as a field service engineer covering 25k per annum. Saw a c180 in autotrader and visited the showroom after speaking with Junio on the telephone. car was as described and the transaction was very simple and straightforward. Car has run perfectly and I am reluctant to swap it for another model. No aftersale problems with the car so cant really comment on the aftersales service which is where most of the complaints that I have read come from. All in all very happy.
