• Had a meal with friends on 30th July 2014, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu is small, but caters for all tastes, and the meals were fantastic. Good quality ingredients, well cooked and presented, with friendly helpful staff. And very good value for money. I would highly recommend even the fussiest of diners to try the Fox Inn, you won't be disappointed.

• Had a meal in the Fox on Wednesday and it was absolutely lovely. One of the best meals I have ever had. Will definitely be going again.

• A lovely old pub, really friendly. The beer was excellent, two new brews to me from the Copper Dragon brewery. There is a field adjacent, where you can park a motor-home or a tent very cheaply, and a very good cooked breakfast was served in the pub. It's a very pleasant two-mile stroll down the hill to picturesque Staithes harbour. Highly recommended.
