• heard new people in the fox and elm. so decided to try it out. what can i say . chris is lovely , as for andy well! . not welcoming at all . in fact he assumed i took drugs and told me not to be taking any in his pub. cheeky bastard . i am hard working man and just wanted a drink after honest days graft . bring back shaz and daz is all i can say!

• Went with my family for a meal. wow... ordered a variety of meals including steak, gammon, fish.. I ordered my steak blue and have to say I got it blue. hubby ordered gammon and wanted his eggs cooked not the usual runny yellow half cooked egg usually on offer friend ordered fish and the batter was crisp and fresh and out of this world. burgers and children's were outstanding too. I would recommend this pub to anyone. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. As for the chef it is not very often you have a chef that listens to your requirements to the letter. I will certainly be going back.
